The Right Hitch Rack
This is The Kuat NV Hitch Rack. This rack is one of the best looking products I have seen in a while. Very well thought out and super efficient. It's ratcheting system is on the inside of the tire arm instead of being on the outside. It has 2 cable locks for 2 bikes and a hitch lock. And get this...a workstand! This is a definite if you want to upgrade your rig to carry your bikes securely and effectively. I'm getting one for the truck...should be here by Halloween.

An amazing story
I heard this guy on Jim Rome today. This kid Zac Sunderland is 17. He sailed around the world solo at 16. This shows anyone can do anything they want and how the human spirit is strong and willing if you just let yourself be yourself.

CB, Lou and the Shitbike!
LOU is our new pup! He loves rides/runs on singletrack. Such a great addition to our family! He's been my motivation to ride more, as he is all about running and running and running.
The Sh*tbike! It has been ridden by the likes of, Wade Simmons, Ryan Leech, Cam McCaul and has been entered in a number of races.Oh yeah! Paige and I with that badass! I was so giddy when I spotted it. I saw a guy riding a bike with the Shitbike in tow. I saw the Murray ball guard and screamed, "Hey is that the Shitbike?" Guy says, " Sure is, you wanna check it out?" Hell yeah I wanted to check it out. The friendly gent was Morgan Meredith from Bike Magazine. He's a super cool guy and great photographer. If you haven't seen his photos, pick up any Bike mag and you'll see what I'm talking about.
Truly an amazing trip!

Bike Park Progress
Thanks to everyone that showed up to make the bike park build day such a success. We had about 40 people show up to help get this thing whipped into shape. We managed to get the pump track in place and burned in, two of the table tops formed and the second ramp for the big jumps built. Not to mention all of the fun we all had riding the park. Thanks so much to Lee McCormack, BMA, Yellow Designs, Hatrock Excavating and everyone that showed up!

Alec and Josh hit the first jump
Hangin' out on the start hill
Burning in the pump track
Lee shows us how it's done
Wade and Mitch check it all out from the start hill

Lyons Bike Skills Park
The Town of Lyons has been working with Lee McCormack from Lee Likes Bikes and Yellow Designs Stunt Team to make The Lyons DJ/Skills Park a unique and one of the most promising parks in the state! It will have a natural terrain area with step ups, step downs, and an awesome pump track. There is also a slalom line that you can get all Luke Skyywalker (think riding on the speedster through the redwoods!)
We will have more info soon about a volunteer day. Probably in a few weeks, so stay tuned!

Big Bueno Bike Ride Numero Uno
Oh man, what a great time we had. Bueno Bikes Bueno Times indeed! We hit up LPS to Porcucine Rim down to Moab on Saturday. We were going to ride Hazard County, but the La Sals had a lot of snow, so it was a no go.
Sunday we rode Sovereign and some of the new links making some good loops. The day started out great, but ended in a crazy ass sandstorm.
We had a crew of about 12 riders. To all you guys, Paige and I had a blast, it was great to meet Case and Jeremy. I hope you guys come out and ride with us more!

Where do I start?
Ok, I have got some good stuff in this post! Good reviews, some news and right out funny stuff.
First off I thought I should try some new tread out. I have had the Maxxis Advantage tires on my El Guapo for a long while now. I absolutely love them, but I thought what the hell, I'll try some new tires. So, I slapped some Scwalbe Fat Albert 2.4 on.
The rear 2.4 lookin' pretty good, no?
The front 2.4. Looks backwards? It's not, which I thought was weird.
So, I climbed up the front side of Hall Ranch. The tires really stuck on the rocks and roots. Not really spinning out on anything. I did notice they were a little low in profile and I was striking a lot more rocks than I would with the Advantage. Over all pretty good going up hill. I got to the top of the rock garden and started going down to the junction. This is where things were not so good. Cornering not so good in loose stuff, which as everyone knows you get a lot of sandy gravel on trails on the front range. The Advantage never had a problem with this.
I'm going back to the Advantage tires. They are just that good.
These tires would be great in more loamy conditions like in Crested Butte or anywhere in the mountains, down here not so much.
On to another review..........
Fox Sergeant Short 09.
These are probably my most favorite riding shorts of all time! A removable liner, well thought out pockets, cotton shell and best of all a removable sunglass wipe! That rules dude. Yeah I love these things, can you tell?
Oh yeah, we are getting an IBIS MOJO in to demo! What do you think about that? Huh? Well whatayathink? Yeah that's right.
DW-Link
5.5 inches of travel
Carbon Frame
....Sounds good to me bra!
It should be here next week! Fore more info on IBIS go here
