Stars and Stripes, Winter Park, Fireworks and a Skunk

Paige and I rode out in WP for The 4th. Sweet riding. We rode from Fraser up through some secret trail to more secret trail down and up Tippery Creek.

We took the Chinook and camped out the night before. This was the Chinook's maiden voyage and she was awesome! This vehicle rules!

We got back to Lyons around 7:00, had a couple of margeritas and headed up the hill and past the "L" to watch the fireworks from Estes Park. We got up there and could not see Estes' fireworks but got to see Loveland,Longmont, Frederick and I think Broomfield's fireworks shows!

When we were coming back down Harvey got sprayed by a skunk! Aw man, we bathed him 4 times and he still smells like Pepe' la Pu!

What a day!

Off to Crested Butte! Going to be a blast. What can be better, Dale's Pale Ale, Bitterbrush Race Team, endless singletrack, and Harvey Dog.

Oh yeah The Brick Oven and late nights at The Talk of the Town.

The Raconteurs new album, Consolers of the Lonely rules! You have to go out and get this. It truly is refreshing to hear such good music. I think Jack White is secretly happy playing with such a good band.
